Product Description

Marula stones are wild harvested from the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
 
After being carefully graded and manually checked for quality, the stones undergo a strict cleaning process before kernels are extracted within our modern processing facility.
 
In the first phase of preparation, stones are cleared of all pulp (Fruit and skin residue) by an automated process and sun dried.
 
In the second phase of preparation, stones undergo a further process where each individual stone is brushed and washed removing all remaining dust and other unwanted elements.
 
It is from here that the stones enter the processing chain where they are sorted and any opened or exposed kernels and otherwise unwanted stones are removed.
 
The stones then move on for kernel extraction, hereafter another sorting process starts removing remaining husks and eyelids from the chain.
 
Extracted kernels are immediately moved to be cold pressed into high quality, pure and natural Marula Oil.
 
Having automated the process and using modern technology in a sanitary facility, with stringent rules and regulations, we can guarantee our oil to be of the utmost quality and consistency.
